3 suspects wanted for allegedly stealing credit cards from cars at Fox Chapel field club

Law enforcement sources told Channel 11 that two men and a woman were wanted, accused of dressing the role in polo shirts and golf gear and sneaking into the parking lot of the Pittsburgh Field Club at Fox Chapel. They are accused of stealing credit cards from cars.

Sources say the trio of seasoned criminals then went to Ross Park Mall and are seen on surveillance video buying $18,000 worth of Louis Vuitton products at someone else’s expense. The men are both seen wearing hats and the woman wears a black headgear and large black sunglasses.

From there, sources say the team went to the Apple Store and tried to purchase an additional $7,500 worth of product, but were turned down.

“There are other ways to make money,” Corey Verrenti told Channel 11. Adding this as a message to criminals: “Make an honest living – you are ruining someone else’s life.”

Troy Jackson used to work in retail security and says some professional criminals will even trade license plates to stay under the radar.

“There were serial professionals who stole these things,” Jackson added. “We had a national database for them.”

Police said the robbery team was in a new black Ford Expedition. Surveillance video shows the SUV with Pennsylvania plates, but police say it is actually a Florida-registered rental car.
