Colchester RCMP are looking for a suspect after credit cards were stolen in Debert

Colchester County RCMP are hoping someone can identify a woman they are looking for in connection with credit card fraud in Debert.

At around 6 p.m. Friday, police investigated a vehicle that had been vandalized on Plains Road. Someone entered the car by smashing a window and stole a purse containing credit cards, which had been used to make purchases before the victim could cancel them.

Police were able to view CCTV footage of a business where the stolen credit cards were used.

The suspect is white with black hair that was up in a bun when she was recorded. She wore blue jeans with a blue jacket, a black shirt and black sneakers with white soles. She also wore a black mask and sunglasses with gold or silver rims and a large necklace. Police believe she arrived at the company in a gray truck with an unknown man.
