Credit cards and iPhones stolen from new Hyde Park business: Police

NEW HYDE PARK, NY – Nassau County Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person behind a commercial burglary at a World Courier in New Hyde Park.

The break-in happened at 1313 4th Ave. around 8 p.m. Monday.

Authorities say an unknown person was filmed entering through an office window and removing iPhones and credit cards before fleeing the scene on foot. He was last seen walking south on 13th Street.

Detectives describe the suspect as a 5ft 10in thin black male. He was last seen wearing a red haircloth, black backpack, yellow sweatshirt, yellow pants and yellow sneakers.

Anyone with additional information is asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-844-TIPS. Callers will remain anonymous.
